Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSRCP government’s liquor policies of causing a Rs 18,860 crore loss to the state over five years. He announced restructuring the Excise department and a transparent procurement policy, with an investigation into alleged irregularities by CB-CID and possibly the Enforcement Directorate. The Assembly passed two bills.
