Xbox Series S Gets A Discount, But It’s Only Temporary

Microsoft’s website recently listed a $15 price cut for the Xbox Series S, but don’t expect the price drop to last (in fact, it’s already gone back up by $5).

Earlier this week, Microsoft was advertising a $15 price cut on the 512GB all-digital robot white Xbox Series S console, bringing the price down to $285. Later in the week, Microsoft bumped the price up to $290, where it stands currently. That’s $10 off the normal $300 price point for the system, purchased directly from Microsoft.

This price cut isn’t permanent, though. A Microsoft spokesperson told GameSpot, “Any pricing variations are part of temporary promotional offers.”
