The Congress Working Committee (CWC) passed a resolution on Saturday, urging Rahul Gandhi to become the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, according to General Secretary KC Venugopal. Rahul Gandhi has yet to decide but will do so soon. This marks the first time since 2014 that Congress will hold this position, as they previously lacked the necessary seats. Venugopal also mentioned that Rahul Gandhi will decide between keeping Rae Bareli or Wayanad seats by the 17th.
