After seven long months, Cowboys fans will finally get a chance to see their favorite team in action again. That’s technically. Realistically, it’s been a lot longer since fans were able to watch Dallas with hope and potential, as things turned sour relatively quickly in a 2024 season that ended with a 7-10 record. But the curtain is rising on the 2025 campaign and it all starts with the club’s first exhibition game as they square off with the Los Angeles Rams.
Dallas and LA have become preseason buddies, working together in a joint practice followed by a game at SoFi Stadium last year, and repeating the process again for 2025. The joint practice saw the Rams looking sharp and the Cowboys keeping things close to the vest, which is something head coach Brian Schottenheimer has warned fans to prepare for more of on Saturday night.
Still though, it will be great for the fans to get their first look at a bevy of free-agent acquisitions, draft picks and UDFA signings as the new-look Cowboys race out the tunnel for the first time under their new leader.
