The highly anticipated 151st Kentucky Derby, which will feature Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert for the first time in four years, is less than two weeks away.
The Kentucky Derby post-position draw is Saturday, April 26, when horse owners, trainers, jockeys and fans will learn which gates the thoroughbreds will start from in the Run for the Roses. Last year, Mystik Dan won the Run for the Roses from post No. 3.
Burnham Square leads the Kentucky Derby leaderboard with 130 points after the Derby prep races. The Ian Wilkes trainee’s last win was in the Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland. In his career, Burnham Square has three first-place finishes in six starts.
