After a stellar end to the 2024 season, there’s been nothing but excitement in Ann Arbor in anticipation of 2025. Just before the Northwestern game in Week 13, Bryce Underwood (the No. 1 recruit in the country) flipped from LSU to Michigan football, then the Wolverines went on to beat Ohio State and Alabama in subsequent games.
Now, the maize and blue have a much more amenable schedule — starting with New Mexico — and will have Underwood at the helm as a true freshman quarterback. The run game figures to be improved and the defense should continue to be elite, even with the personnel losses on that side of the ball.
It all begins on Saturday. Here’s what you need to know.
