Watch: Korean Air flight drops over 26k feet in 15 minutes, 17 injured

A Korean Air flight had dropped more than 26,000 feet in 15 minutes after it was forced to make an emergency landing due to a fault in its pressurization system.

The Boeing flight departed from South Korea’s capital Seoul and was on its way to Taiwan, but soon after its take-off the airplane had to take a u-turn owing to malfunction in its system.
Passengers on-board experienced many health issues as the flight made a quick return. Many passengers reportedly had hyperventilation issues and ear pain. Oxygen masks on the flight were also released and passengers were forced to use them.
The flight originally took-off on June 22 and after its return the passengers were taken to their destinations in a new flight on June 23.
According to reports, 17 passengers were injured in the malfunction. The injured were taken to a hospital in Taiwan for treatment.
The Korean Air had apologised over the incident and said that it’s cooperating with all the authorities for the investigation.
