WARANGAL: A comprehensive cordon and search operation was conducted in the agency area of Kotha Gumpu village, located within the Tippapuram village panchayat limits in Venkatapuram mandal, by police officials on Friday.
During the operation, ASP Shivam Upadhyay interacted with the villagers, inquiring about the challenges they face in these agency areas. He assured them that he would escalate their concerns to the relevant departments to ensure they are addressed promptly.
The ASP also advised the villagers to remain vigilant against unidentified and suspicious individuals in the area. He cautioned them against supporting individuals involved in anti-social activities, warning of potential future repercussions. He urged the residents to immediately inform the police if they notice any suspicious activity in their villages or nearby forest regions, reassuring them that the identities of informants would be kept confidential.
As part of the ‘Civic Action Programme’ organised under the CRPF A/58 Battalion, Upadhyay distributed various items to the villagers, including three bicycles, two sewing machines, three Sintex water tanks, 15 solar lights, six volleyballs, four basketballs, two volleyball nets, and a carrom board.
