It’s time to vote for the standout high school performer of the week for the Central Wisconsin area.
The Menke GMC Athlete of the week poll for April 13-20 is now open until noon Thursday.
Choose which high school performer you think stands out and shined brightest from a field of high-performing student-athletes.
Megan Foster, Wausau West girls soccer: Foster scored the game-clinching goal against D.C. Everest on April 17.
Dawson Luther, Pittsville: Luther led Pittsville to a win with two hits for two runs and three RBI while striking out five batters in four innings pitched.
Rory Salvesen, Wittenberg-Birnamwood: Salvesen notched three hits including a three-run homerun in the second inning of their win against Iola-Scandinavia.
Maya Munoz, Iola-Scandinavia: Munoz had a stellar day at bat for Iola-Scandinavia against Wittenberg-Birnamwood, notching three hits for the Thunderbirds.
Audrina Placeway, Stevens Point: Placeway notched three hits, two runs and eight RBI in a win over Wausau East.
Nathan Richardson, Auburndale: Richardson struck out seven on the mound for Auburndale in their win over Spencer on April 17.
