There were plenty of standout performances from Louisville-area athletes throughout the boys lacrosse season.
Voting is underway for The Courier Journal’s boys lacrosse player of the year. The poll closes at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, and the winner will be announced Thursday, June 19.

Here are the nominees:
Logan Bryant, Trinity
Senior Logan Bryant led the state in goals (82) and was in the top 10 in the state for assists (37).
Max Leachman, Ballard
Senior Max Leachman scored 103 points, finishing with 56 goals and 47 assists.
Rylan Rogers, South Oldham
Junior Rylan Rogers finished third in the state in goals and helped South Oldham finish as state runner-up.
Elijah Robinson, Manual
Senior Elijah Robinson finished the year tied for first in shutouts (2), averaged 9.8 saves per game and was named to the KHSAA State Lacrosse Boys All-Tournament Team.
Joshua ‘Davis’ Mayer, St. Xavier
Senior Joshua “Davis” Mayer recorded more than 30 goals and 30 assists for the Tigers. He led St. X to the second round of the state tournament, where it lost to Trinity.
