“Their service, sacrifice will continue to inspire every Indian”: Rajnath Singh on Kargil Vijay Diwas

On the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh honored the bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers from the 1999 Kargil War. He emphasized that their courage continues to inspire future generations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Kargil War Memorial to pay tribute and inaugurate the Shinkun La Tunnel Project, which will provide all-weather connectivity to Leh and enhance regional development. The day commemorates the successful Operation Vijay, where Indian forces reclaimed key positions from Pakistani intruders.
