The Dark Knight Trilogy’s New 4K Steelbook Library Collection Looks Stunning

Just days after revealing an exclusive Superman Steelbook Library Collection, Amazon has unveiled a similar box set for Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy. Priced at $130 and releasing September 9, The Dark Knight Trilogy Steelbook Library Collection comes with the superb 4K UHD Blu-ray editions of the three movies starring Christian Bale as Batman. You’ll get a batcave’s worth of collectibles with this set, including four stylish steelbook cases and a metal library display case.

Amazon opened preorders for this exciting Batman collection on July 22, the same day it started selling the Superman Library Collection for $130. Both sets are exclusive to Amazon and are likely to sell out. Amazon released an exclusive Sean Connery James Bond Library Collection in June and has an upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street Library Collection. Both of those sold out fast, though it’s worth noting they contain movies that previously weren’t available on 4K.

The Dark Knight Trilogy Steelbook Library Edition

In terms of on-disc content, this is the same collection as the existing 4K standard edition, which is discounted to $44 (was $75) at Amazon–but the standard doesn’t come with digital versions of the movies. The 4K UHD versions of these three films are superb. Rendered in native 4K (2160p) with support for HDR10 and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, the nine-disc collection should be in every Batman fan’s personal library.
