The Chevrolet Bolt has always been something of a people’s champion in the electric vehicle world. When it first arrived for the 2017 model year, it was among the only long-range, mass-produced EVs that didn’t require a luxury tax to park in your driveway. However, in late 2023, it seemed the story had ended when General Motors paused production to make room on the assembly line for the Silverado EV and Sierra EV.
