The halfway point of the gaming year is coming into focus with several new releases and summer gaming conferences to look forward to. June looks like it belongs to Nintendo, as the launch of the Switch 2 marks a new chapter for the company. The Switch 2 isn’t doing anything radically different, but the console still features a handful of new hardware ideas, a strong lineup of games for its first few months, and some terrific third-party support for the next era of Nintendo.
Beyond that, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox gamers aren’t being left out in the cold. PlayStation gamers can trek across the post-apocalyptic wilderness in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Xbox owners can enjoy some free-to-play fun when Zenless Zone Zero arrives, and on PC, Stellar Blade is a stylish adventure with plenty of substance.
