Mike McCoy and the Tennessee Titans wrapped up their week of practice ahead of their Week 7 matchup with the New England Patriots and capped it off with a few minor roster moves.
With kicker Joey Slye back in the fold, Tennessee decided to part ways with kicker Matthew Wright from the practice squad. Wright was active for the Week 6 loss in Las Vegas and made both of his kicks, and remains perfect in his two stints with the Titans.
Tennessee also took the time to workout three linebackers, Joe Bachie, Blake Lynch, and Kana’i Mauga, before deciding to sign Bachie to the practice squad.
Bachie does bring some NFL experience to the table and has bounced around between four teams since entering the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the New Orleans Saints following the 2020 NFL draft. Although he didn’t latch on there, he finally found a home with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021. After three seasons there, he joined the Indianapolis Colts in May, and made their initial 53-man roster before being waived on October 15.
The Titans will be back in action on Sunday when they face the Patriots at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
