The Pittsburgh Steelers just teased another upcoming announcement — and it might confirm the return of a fan-favorite throwback uniform.
On July 14 at 6:00 PM EST, the Steelers dropped a new tease on social media — with another July 21 announcement date.

This “Defined by Legacy” teaser matches last week’s cryptic social media post on the Steelers’ X — the “Forged in Pittsburgh” message, also featuring the July 21 announcement date.
The cat’s likely out of the bag, though, as SportsLogos.Net previously reported that the Steelers are set to unveil their new throwback uniforms on this same date — uniforms that supposedly mirror the 2007–2011 throwback design.
Previously, Steelers President Art Rooney II announced new throwback jerseys would be worn against the Green Bay Packers — later confirmed to be in Week 8 on Sunday Night Football.
Here’s to hoping that the reports on these jerseys are true — as the gold helmets with all-gold lettering on the black jerseys were some of the best uniform combinations in NFL history.
