The Pittsburgh Steelers have parted ways with training camp standout WR Brandon Johnson.
On Friday, the Steelers announced Johnson’s removal from IR with an injury settlement — leaving the 27-year-old pass catcher free to sign with any team once healthy.

In the Steelers’ preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers, Johnson suffered a foot injury that forced him out early in the contest.
Signing with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Johnson played 20 games in the Mile High City before joining Pittsburgh in August 2024.
Johnson appeared in just three games for the Steelers last season, catching one pass for nine yards. He signed a Reserve/Future contract with Pittsburgh this past January, where he made the most of his opportunity at training camp.
