On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers released a pair of injured players from their training camp roster with injury settlements. The Steelers had placed wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig and outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon on the Reserve/Injured list but now they will be free to rehab and then sign with another team.
Moon was part of the Steelers outside linebacker rotation last season as the team’s No. 4. Moon was active for 13 games in 2024 and even got one start, although he failed to register a sack. Moon was a longshot to make the final 53-man roster after the Steelers selected former Ohio State edge rusher Jack Sawyer in the 2025 NFL draft.

Lemonious-Craig was added as an undrafted free agent this offseason. He played his college football at the University of Arizona but he was never able to have a significant impact on the Wildcats passing game despite excellent size and athleticism. Pittsburgh has a full wide receiver depth chart despite lacking a true No. 2 wide receiver to go along with DK Metcalf.
