While the 2025 NFL Draft produced a relatively weaker class of quarterbacks, the 2026 edition promises to be a whole lot stronger. Arch Manning gets all the hype and pub, but he’s got a lot of company. The likes of Clemson’s Cade Klubnik, LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier, Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza and South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers round out the top five prospects at this this time.
All of them could go in the top 15, and Draft Wire currently projects Sellers as the second QB off the boards, going eighth overall in next year’s draft.
Sellers is an electric, dual threat quarterback who will be a sophomore this upcoming season. As a freshman, the Florence, SC native threw for 2,534 yards on 65% completion, 18 touchdowns, to go against just seven interceptions. He also run for 674 yards on a 4.1 yards per carry average.
At 6-3, 242, the bespectacled Sellers brings great size to go along with tremendous speed. He is a load for opposing would-be tacklers and he’s got the clutch gene to complement his physical gifts. Sellers comes up huge in big games, as he led USC to a 44-20 win over Texas A&M, at a time when the Aggies were ranked #10 in the nation.
