WESTBROOK, Maine – Ronan Garrett struck out 12 and allowed three hits over seven scoreless innings as the Marshwood High School baseball team beat Westbrook, 13-0 on Thursday in a Class A South contest.
Marshwood, which improved to 10-1 on the season, scored five runs in the first inning, two in the fourth and six in the seventh.
Silas Reimels led Marshwood with two hits and four RBIs, while Michael Sbrizza had two hits and three RBIs. Teammates Brady Isabelle and Tyler Hussey both had two hits and one RBI. Hussey’s hit was a solo home run.

WINDHAM, Maine – Maddy Poitras had two goals and one assist for Marshwood (8-3) in this Class A game.
Eva Hersey and Sarah Theriault both had one goal and one assist for the Hawks, while Liv Drake and Anna Jennings both had one goal. Marshwood goalie Leigh Twohig had five saves.
