For the sixth time ever, Boston will be hosting the annual Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, except this time, the city will be hosting the competition’s big finale.
In the past, Boston has hosted other phases of the competition, but not the final contests. Wrapping up the World Series’ 16th season, a men and women’s champion will be crowned at the event.
This will be the second time the series finishes in the United States. The last time the U.S. hosted the finale was in 2010 in Hawaii.

Where is the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series event in Boston?
It’ll happen at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, located at 25 Harbor Shore Dr. Boston, MA.
When is the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series finale?
It’ll take place over two days.
The first day of competition will get going on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. and will last until about noon.
The second day of competition will be Saturday, Sept. 20 Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. and will last until around 1 p.m.
The award ceremony will begin around 1 p.m. after the competition has ended.
Is there a charge for admission?
No, going to see the event on either day is free.
Red Bull Cliff Diving height and what else to know about the event
The platforms are at 27 meters (88.5ft) for the men and 21 meters (69ft) for the women. For perspective, those heights are nerly triple the heigh Olympic divers jump from.
This year Team USA’s James Lichtenstein, the reigning world champion, will be defending his title and Kaylea Arnett is expected to lead the U.S. women.
Internationally “global stars like Australia’s Rhiannan Iffland, an eight-time title holder, and Canada’s Molly Carlson, a fan favorite with a massive following, promise highlight-reel dives. Rising star Nelli Chukanivska of Ukraine, just 18 years old, brings fearless energy, while legends Gary Hunt of France and Jonathan Paredes of Mexico return as wildcards.” will also be jumping, according to Timeout website.

They can watch the live broadcast of the competition on ESPN+ in the U.S. and on Red Bull TV internationally.
