I think the most succinct way to convey that Pokémon Legends Z-A is hitting is repeat what Jan said about it: It helped him get his groove back. No one is calling Z-A the best thing they’ve played this year, but everyone seems happy with it and its ability to deliver the core pleasures of the series. Oh, and it’s also our No. 1 game on The Bomb 12.

The Outer Worlds 2 is one of our new entries this week. I’m curious to see if it will jump into the top 3 once it gets a whole week of voting. I think the buzz has been unfairly muted for the Obsidian RPG. Maybe it’s not the studio’s best work, but it certainly feels comparable to Fallout: New Vegas.
