Panthers RB Rico Dowdle makes progress on Week 11 status

The Carolina Panthers made some progress on the injury front this afternoon.

Running back Rico Dowdle, who was listed as a non-participant in yesterday’s practice due to a quad injury, returned to the field in a limited capacity on Thursday. Dowdle, per head coach Dave Canales, is expected to play in Sunday’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Defensive lineman Derrick Brown (knee) was also upgraded on the injury report, going from limited to full. The 2023 Pro Bowler has amassed 40 combined tackles and 3.0 sacks through 10 games.
