The Oregon Ducks came into Week 8 of the college football season looking to prove something after their first loss of the year. There was some talk about them potentially sliding, but the Ducks shut down that noise with a dominant victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
It felt like every play was explosive for the offense and the defense refused to give an inch to Rutgers. The Ducks won the game 56-10, so it’s no surprise that FanDuel Sportsbook has the spread for next Saturday’s game against the Wisconsin Badgers set at minus-32 1/2 in favor of Oregon.
For the second time this season, the Ducks have no moneyline odds for a game, meaning bettors can’t imagine a scenario where they lose. Obviously it could happen, but the Ducks proved to the world that last week was a fluke and the betting odds reflect that. The point spread for the game is 44 1/2, a clear sign that Oregon’s defense is expected to suppress Wisconsin’s offense.
The Ducks will look to keep the good vibes flowing next week and keep climbing the national rankings.
