May 5—There are still a limited number of spots available for the Odessa Police Athletic League, which will be held Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 27. The Odessa Police Department is taking registrations until the spots are full. The OPD Records Division can notarize the release form if needed. There are still spots available for 8-9 Boys, 8-9 Girls, and 10-11 Girls. There are no spots available for 10-11 Boys.

You must print both the registration form and the release form and fill them out. The registration fee is $100 per child, and we only accept cash, money orders, or credit cards. No checks. You may bring the completed forms and cash/money order to the OPD Front Desk located at 205 N Grant.
The purpose of this summer program is to promote physical activity through sports, learn about teamwork, and create trust and understanding between police officers and our community’s youth. From 8:30 a.m. — 4:30 p.m., the children participate in activities such as baseball, basketball, volleyball, kickball, dodgeball, swimming, and bowling.
