Notre Dame football’s availability report for Miami has a hilarious addition

Notre Dame football is sure having fun to start the 2025 season, as Under Armour released a hilarious video on Thursday starring head coach Marcus Freeman and Irish super-fan and comedian Shane Gillis.

You would have had to watch the clip to get why the Irish’s availability report has No. 00 as out for the game as The Athletic’s Pete Sampson shared. Gillis won’t be able to play, after asking Freeman for one snap, as he will be out due to “tailgating.” It’s great to see Notre Dame keeping up with the running joke, and you have to wonder how long it will go on for.

Back to the real football aspect of it, most of the unavailable players we already knew about, as most of the players that won’t be able to participate are on Notre Dame’s offense. The biggest one is Charles Jagusah, who is recovering from a UTV accident suffered during the off-season.

There aren’t any players that had an injury pop up this week, so it looks like the Irish will be almost at full-strength when facing Miami on Sunday.
