Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was offered the prime ministerial post by the Opposition INDIA bloc, according to Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi. However, Kumar declined the offer, stating that he was offered the position by those who did not allow him to become the convenor of the INDIA bloc. Congress leader KC Venugopal denied any knowledge of the INDIA bloc’s offer, stating that only he knows about it.
