NFL trade value chart: Here's how much every draft pick is worth in 2025

The 2025 NFL draft kicks off Thursday in Green Bay. The wait is finally over. Unlike last year, there is more suspense early in the draft outside of the first few picks. Last year, it was clear that multiple quarterbacks would be selected early, which is precisely what happened. With little suspense, there were fewer trades. That could change this week.

There is only one quarterback (Cam Ward) who is certain to go in the first round. Ward will go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans. Other quarterbacks could go in the first round. Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart and Jalen Milroe are the names to watch.

The Washington Commanders are first on the clock at No. 29 and could be a prime trade candidate for teams looking to get back into the bottom of the first round to acquire that fifth-year option. The Commanders have only five picks, and general manager Adam Peters would like to add more. Even if Washington is unable to trade out of the first round, there should be plenty of opportunities throughout the draft to move back.

To determine the value of each selection, we use the Rich Hill trade chart, which has become more common in recent drafts. What are Washington’s picks worth?

As you can see in the chart, it gives the value of all 257 picks.

Round 1, No. 29: 202 pointsRound 2, No. 61: 86 pointsRound 4, No. 128: 20 pointsRound 6, No. 205: 4 pointsRound 7, No. 245: 1 point

The Commanders do not have much to work with in terms of moving up. It’s important to note that Washington traded multiple picks for three veteran starters: CB Marshon Lattimore, WR Deebo Samuel and LT Laremy Tunsil.
