NFL mock draft 2025: Day 2 expert projections for 2nd round, 3rd round picks

The second day of the 2025 NFL Draft begins on April 25 with a major storyline at the top of the second round.

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders did not get selected in the first round, which included two quarterbacks (Cam Ward to the Titans at No. 1, Jaxson Dart to the Giants at No. 25) being picked.

Sanders’ drop could continue for another handful of picks if the QB-needy Browns do not select him at No. 33 or 36. From there, the Saints are at No. 40 overall and the Jets are at No. 42 overall.

Tennessee is in a prime position open Friday’s two rounds, with the No. 35 pick early in the evening.

This would be an instant upgrade on the edge for the Titans. If all goes well, Ezeiruaku could push to lead the team in sacks as a rookie. He’s a technically-sound, active edge rusher who is quick off the ball and had a lot of production in college (28 sacks in four years, including 16.5 in 2024).
