Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has sought a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives in Nepal, following opposition from the Nepali Congress. The move follows the withdrawal of support from Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) after the coalition partner withdrew support. The vote of confidence is required within 30 days if a party splits or a coalition member withdraws support.
