Manipur detected over 10,675 illegal immigrants from various countries in the past five years, as per Chief Minister N Biren Singh. The state is enhancing border security with new police stations, outposts, and border fencing. Efforts to deport immigrants and monitor those in detention centers and local shelters were also discussed.
