MSU football offers 3-star DL, FAU commit Frederic Sainteus of Naples, Fla.

Michigan State football has extended an offer to a three-star defensive lineman currently committed to a school from the American Conference.

Frederic Sainteus of Naples, Fla. announced on Monday evening that he has received an offer from the Spartans. Sainteus — who is currently committed to Florida Atlantic — announced the offer from the Spartans by posting on his social media X account, stating he received the offer after a conversation with Michigan State Executive Director of Player Personnel Antwon Murray.

Sainteus is a three-star defensive lineman in the 2026 class, with a recruiting rating of 85 in 247Sports’ composite system. He ranks as the No. 167 defensive lineman and No. 1,611 overall prospect in the class, according to 247Sports.

Sainteus committed to Florida Atlantic in late June. According to 247Sports, Michigan State is only the third FBS school to extend an offer to Sainteus, with his other two offers being from Florida Atlantic and Florida International.

After a great conversation with @Antwon_Murray and the rest of the Michigan State Football Staff. I’m blessed to have received an offer from Michigan State University! @adamgorney@chrismaragos@primefastllc@rivalscamp@theucreport@hssportsfl@flrecruits@prepredzoneflpic.twitter.com/eE8NQTRz1a
