Mpox cases: Bengaluru airport starts mandatory Monkeypox testing for international passengers

Kempegowda International Airport has started mandatory monkeypox testing for international passengers after the first case was detected in Delhi. Around 2,000 passengers are being tested daily. Infected individuals will be isolated and quarantined for 21 days. The airport has set up screening, testing, and tracking systems to prevent the virus from entering Karnataka.
