Khammam: A mother and her two children died in a road accident at Hariya thanda of Raghunadhapalem mandal in the district when a car hit a roadside tree after allegedly losing control.
Her family members were expressing doubt over the husband escaping from the accident with injuries.
Boda Kumari(26), who was the wife of Praveen and their daughters Krushika(4) and Thaniska(3) died in the road accident on the spot. Praveen, who was driving the car at the time, also received injuries in the road accident. The family was residing in Hyderabad and came to their native place Rangapuram thanda of Enkuru mandal in the district about 10 days back when Praveen’s mother fell sick.
The road accident took place at 11 pm on Tuesday when they were returning to their native place from Manchukonda in the car.
On the other hand the Kumari’s parents Hari Singh and Padma alleged that Praveen has killed his wife and two daughters and enacted a drama of road accident. They said that there were no blood trains on the three. Praveen has been harassing their daughter by blaming her for having two children as girls. Praveen had an extra-marital affair with another woman, he added. They demanded an in-depth inquiry into the road accident.
Raghunadhapalem Inspector of Police Srihari informed that the bodies of the victims have been shifted to government hospital at Khammam for autopsy. A case was filed and investigation is on. The police will investigate in all angles, he added.
