Adilabad: Mancherial MLA K. Premsagar Rao inspected the construction work at the Government Medical College at the Gudipet in Hajipur mandal in the Mancherial district on Saturday. Rao inquired with engineers about the work status and went through the design of the medical college buildings.
Premsagar Rao said the state government was taking measures to provide quality education and health to the people, and the medical colleges that were being built would help achieving the aim.
He said the Congress government had prioritised the medical field to help the poor and middle-class people. Premsagar Rao the construction of a 350-bed hospital at the market place will be completed by March next. Students may get postgraduate medical seats in the future when the government increases the number of beds in the mother and child care centre and the general hospital.
