Fans of the Tennessee Titans have been catching glimpses of their prized rookie Cam Ward from rookie mincamp and OTAs, but that has been about it.
Ward has been one of the least hyped first overall selections in the NFL draft in recent history, and national coverage has been minimal. That changed slightly during the NFLPA Rookie Premier when Cam Ward donned his complete Titans uniform for the first time.

The Titans and their fans hope this is the first of many times Ward is thrust into the national spotlight, especially after seeing a primetime whitewash as a rookie. He joined Cam Newton as the only quarterbacks drafted No. 1 overall to not receive primetime treatment as a rookie since 2011.
With Ward expected to open the season as the Titans’ starting quarterback, he should have a chance to make his mark early in his career. During coverage of minicamp and OTAs, he is already making strides learning the offense and winning over veterans.
After suffering through the Will Levis experiment in 2024, the organization’s excitement level is on the rise as it looks toward the future with Ward at the helm.
