France condemns the Israeli fire that targeted a UNIFIL detachment on October 26, 2025.
This incident follows on from incidents observed on October 1, 2 and 11, instances when the Israel Defense Forces had already targeted UNIFIL positions.
France emphasizes that the protection of UN peacekeepers and the safety and security of UN personnel, assets and premises must be guaranteed under international law and UN Resolution 1701.
