Kingston McKoy leads team to West Reading Ron Krick Memorial League title

Berks Catholic High School star Kingston McKoy scored 27 points to lead Berks Packing to a 47-37 win over Apella Wealth in the championship game Thursday night of the West Reading Ron Krick Memorial League at the old gym at Wyomissing.

For Apella Wealth, Nechar Mercado scored 15 points.

In the Kyle Conrad Memorial All-Star Game, Dom Arguelles scored 14 points as Team DeCusatis defeated Team Moyer 66-62.

For Team Moyer, AJ Scheifley scored 14 points.

McCoy, a first team all-state selection in Class 3A this past season as a junior, was named the Terry Brennan Most Outstanding Player, and Johnny Giesa of Berks Catholic was named the Woozy Smith Most Improved Player.

Jayden Ware of Exeter won the Bill Snider Best Defensive Player award, and Xavier Negron of Conrad Weiser received the West Reading Drug Store Sportsmanship award.

Arguelles, of Wyomissing, won the Kyle Conrad Memorial All-Star Game MVP.
