Kannada superstar Darshan Thoogudeepa and actress Pavithra Gowda, along with nine others, were detained in Bengaluru under allegations of involvement in the murder of Renukaswamy, who had sent derogatory messages to Gowda. The victim was tortured, killed, and dumped in a drain in Kamakshipalya two months ago.
