Kajal essays performance-centric role in Sikandar

Pretty actress Kajal Aggarwal is returning to Bollywood and will be sharing screen space with Bollywood star Salman Khan in ‘Sikandar’ and she is quite excited about it. “She is playing a performance-centric role and set to showcase her histrionic skills,’ says a source and adds, “She is very happy to share screen space with Salman Khan and she is enjoying her shooting these days,’ he adds. Rashmika Mandanna is also playing another female lead in the film, “Kajal’s role will have a longer run,” he cuts short.

Kajal is also elated to work with ace director Murugadoss with whom she worked in the Tamil film ‘Thupaki’. ‘Working with Murugadoss is another interesting factor and they share a good rapport. They understand each other and Kajal is giving her best and glad to be back in Bollywood after a break,” he points out.

She was last seen in the Telugu film ‘Sathyabhama’ and she has been flooded with author-backed roles in Tollywood. ‘She will soon sign a Telugu movies,’ he says, and adds, “She has to just give her nod and there would be four to five female-oriented films on floors. Even though Kajal has never done a lady-oriented film in her 12-year-old career some young directors and producers are willing to bet money on her.”

However, the ‘Magadheera’ actress is not in a hurry and is biding her time. “She is weighing her options before plunging deep into female-oriented movies,” he concludes.
