Jordan Love on facing Aaron Rodgers-led Steelers: 'Hopefully we can exchange jerseys'

New Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers going head-to-head against his Packers replacement, QB Jordan Love, is one of the most exciting matchups in 2025 — and that feeling isn’t lost on the young Green Bay signal caller.

According to Jason Wilde of Channel3000, Love was very fond of his short time with Rodgers in the Packers QB room:

“In my time with A-Rod, we had a great relationship. It was awesome being in the same room with him, being able to learn. He was amazing with everything. And I definitely appreciate the way he handled everything on the outside with obviously him leaving and me taking over, and he’s been very supportive of me [since].”

Love was thankful that Rodgers used his own experience with Brett Favre to shape his relationship with his heir apparent in Green Bay. He then discussed the excitement of facing off against the four-time MVP and new Steelers QB in 2025:

“It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be awesome. I’m excited for it,” Love said. “I can’t wait to be on different sides, meeting up, and I know we’ll talk pre-game, things like that. And hopefully we can exchange jerseys after.”

Love may be looking forward to a jersey swap, but Rodgers has the opportunity to make history at the expense of the Green Bay Packers — as a victory over his former team would make him just one of five QBs to beat all 32 NFL teams.
