Visakhapatnam: The Telugu Desam Party’s official handle on X, shared inside pictures of a swanky bungalow built during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRC government at Rushikonda in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
TD MLA Ganta Srinivas visited the huge mansion with local leaders.
After paying a visit, the TD leader stated that the building was constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 500 crores, including interiors and furniture.
He further stated, “It has been publicized that the massive house would be used as the Chief Minister’s camp office during the YSRC rule. They had also kept the construction of the building under wraps.”
The Jagan-led YSRC government had razed Praja Vedika, a public building, citing lack of permissions for its construction.
Ganta also demanded to know the permissions given to this building and why the tourism minister had inaugurated the building without permitting anyone.
“Why was the building built so lavishly?” he questioned.
Pictures of the bungalow and furniture inside which have gone viral, show the interiors of the posh bungalow with imported furniture, a large bathtub and a fully furnished modular kitchen.
The TD in its message claimed that the estimated cost of the bathtub was around 26 lakhs.
