On 16 August 2024, the 4th India-Vietnam Maritime Security Dialogue took place in Hanoi. Both sides explored ways to boost maritime cooperation, reviewed ongoing initiatives and sought new areas of collaboration, including marine research, ocean economy, disaster relief, and maritime law enforcement. The dialogue followed the Vietnam PM’s recent visit to India.
