India abstained from a UN General Assembly resolution demanding Russia cease aggression against Ukraine and withdraw from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. The resolution, adopted with 99 votes in favor, nine against, and 60 abstentions, calls for Russia to return the plant to Ukrainian control and cease attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
