Hindi Movies Releasing This Month

As August 15th approaches, Bollywood’s dry spell will come to an end with three major releases namely Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, and Vedaa hitting theaters. Subsequently, there will be successive blockbusters at cinemas thus restoring enthusiasm for cinema-going. On Independence Day fans can look forward to teasers of some of the highly anticipated films like Sky Force, Chhava and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s most awaited movie teaser “Jigra” is also expected anytime soon after getting approved by CBFC.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the teaser for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was given a U/A certificate by CBFC. It looks like Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein which shares T-Series as their producers will get attached with a one minute thirty-two-second trailer to enhance its popularity among viewers. In addition, this means that teasers for Sky Force and Chhava along with Stree 2 will also be released on the same day.

Also, another highly anticipated film called Jigra featuring Alia Bhatt is just a few days away from being teased. Furthermore, its teaser runs for approximately 2 minutes having obtained U certificate such that even though the release date has yet to be announced, it will be known soon.

It stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit in leading roles of this horror-comedy as directed by Anees Bazmee – which marks the third instalment of the beloved Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise that is expected to hit theaters on Diwali 2024. Another action thriller ‘Sky Force’ with Akshay Kumar as lead actor and co-starring Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur shall come out on October 2nd this year under Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur’s direction.

The movie Chhava, a historical drama, stars Vicky Kaushal together with Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna Ashutosh Rana Divya Dutta scheduled for December 6th, 2024 release. Finally coming to screens is Alia Bhat’s Jigra whereby she takes a lead role alongside Vedang Raina whose director is Vasan Bala; the film’s production was done by Alia Bhatt herself and Karan Johar comes out on the 11th of October 2024.
