Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district was jolted awake by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 early Friday morning. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was located at Latitude 31.48 N and Longitude 77.53 E, with a depth of 10 kilometers. The tremor hit Kullu at 3:40 am, causing some residents to feel the ground shake.
