Former Steeler George Pickens trolls Pittsburgh in congratulations to Minkah Fitzpatrick

The Pittsburgh Steelers have had one of the busiest offseasons of all time. The most recent and the biggest move of the offseason happened on Monday when Pittsburgh sent safety Minkah Fitzpatrick back to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for cornerback Jalen Ramsey and tight end Jonnu Smith, along with a swap of draft picks.

This is on top of the Steelers trading for wide receiver DK Metcalf early in the offseason and then trading away wide receiver George Pickens just after the NFL draft. Oh, and speaking of Pickens, he took the opportunity to congratulate Fitzpatrick on Instagram, and he made sure to lay it on pretty thick as a veiled shot at his old team.

“Super happy for you broski !!!!!!,” Pickens posted.

The Steelers traded Pickens away despite the lure of having him and Metcalf on the field at the same time this season. Pickens is now paired up with CeeDee Lamb with the Dallas Cowboys and seems to be quite happy. The Steelers also seem happy to be rid of Pickens and his maturity issues on and off the field.

Meanwhile, the Steelers added another playmaker on Monday in the Fitzpatrick trade with Smith.
