Former Penn State and Ohio State wide receiver Julian Fleming may not have been an NFL draft pick, but his NFL aspirations were reached this weekend anyway. The Green Bay Packers signed Fleming as an undrafted free agent shortly following the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fleming spent his first four seasons of college football at Ohio State. In his four years with the Buckeyes, Fleming caught 79 passes for 963 yards and seven touchdowns. The Pennsylvania native then transferred to Penn State for his final year of eligibility in 2024 and accounted for 14 receptions and 176 yards with one touchdown.
Penn State had five players drafted in this year’s NFL draft cycle, including first-round draft picks Abdul Carter and Tyler Warren. You can see the full NFL draft tracker to see what other Penn State players were drafted and where they are heading.
Fleming will join former Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford, offensive tackle Rasheed Walker and cornerback Kalen King. Fleming did not cross paths with those players in Happy Valley though.
Offensive lineman Sal Wormley has also been signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
