The Union Home Ministry has granted a Foreign Contribution Registration Act (FCRA) license to Abhinav Bindra Foundation, a non-profit organization that won India’s first individual gold medal at the 2008 Olympics. The foundation, which focuses on grassroots sports development, education, and environment, has received its FCRA certificate and is currently in the process of identifying and partnering with organizations that share its mission and vision.
