FDA approves updated COVID-19 vaccines, shots should be available in days

U.S. regulators have approved updated COVID-19 vaccines designed to better target recent strains of the virus. This approval, granted on Thursday by the Food and Drug Administration, allows Pfizer and Moderna to start distributing millions of doses. Novavax, another U.S. manufacturer, plans to release its updated version shortly after.
